Who is responsible
MyWellnessTrip is responsible for personal information collected through this website and our direct enquiry communications. Contact info@mywellnesstrip.com for privacy questions or requests.
What we collect
- Contact details such as name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, and preferred contact method.
- Health and treatment information you choose to share, including symptoms, diagnoses, reports, scans, medicines, and treatment history.
- Travel information needed for hospital letters, visa coordination, accommodation, arrival, or companion arrangements.
- Technical and security information needed to operate the site, prevent abuse, and investigate delivery problems.
The public enquiry form does not require a passport scan or complete medical record. We ask for additional information only when it is needed for a specific next step.
How we use information
- To respond to the enquiry and understand the requested help.
- To organise hospital questions, written estimates, tele-consultations, treatment timing, and follow-up.
- With your permission, to share relevant information with selected hospitals, doctors, or service providers.
- To coordinate hospital letters, accommodation, transport, interpretation, and other requested logistics.
- To protect the service against spam, fraud, misuse, and security incidents.
Health information is treated as sensitive. Where consent is the legal basis, you may withdraw it for future processing, although this may prevent us from continuing the requested coordination.
Who may receive it
Only the information needed for a requested task should be shared. Possible recipients include selected hospitals and clinicians, accommodation or transport providers, interpreters, email and hosting providers, and professional advisers where necessary.
Medical coordination with India may involve transferring information across national borders. We explain the intended recipient before sharing medical records whenever practical.
We do not sell health information. The enquiry form does not send medical or contact details to advertising or analytics services.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and coordination records are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless an active case, legal requirement, payment dispute, safety issue, or your request justifies a different period. Records no longer needed should be securely deleted or de-identified.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Email info@mywellnesstrip.com. We may need to verify identity before acting on a request.
If the GDPR applies, you may also complain to the data-protection authority in your country.
How GDPR and HIPAA may apply
GDPR
When MyWellnessTrip offers services to people in the European Economic Area, GDPR obligations may apply. Health information receives additional protection. We rely on an appropriate legal basis, including explicit consent where required, and provide applicable data rights.
HIPAA
HIPAA applies to defined US covered entities and their business associates. MyWellnessTrip is not a US health plan, clearinghouse, or treating healthcare provider and does not claim general HIPAA certification. If we are engaged by a HIPAA-covered organisation to handle protected health information on its behalf, a written business-associate arrangement and additional safeguards may be required before that work begins.
Security
The website uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to enquiry messages is restricted to authorised business users. The form validates submissions, limits automated abuse, and avoids placing contact details in message subjects or public URLs.
No internet or email system can guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, banking credentials, or unrelated identity documents.
